I am happy to work to some sort of agreement. I never meant to judge whether Neil was guilty of anything, I have no idea. It was just a question of identifying why a fine would be imposed, rightly or wrongly. "Alleged conflict of interest" will do, as far as I am concerned. Also, you are right, the Austin piece was an opinion column, and therefore might easily have spun things, which finally decided me on not relying on it to interpret the extent of the alleged conflict of interest. I am really not very stubborn, as long as I do not feel one is talking to my strawman doppelganger.

Thanks for the good wishes! The weekend was wonderful. I am hoping some rest and medication will permit another outing on the day itself.......
