quick technical analysis of Price of Silver (POS)
powerful bull pattern is evident to this jackass

stockcharts.com

shorterm:
bullish triangle forming since Jan1st when it hit 493
since then, two impulse lows at 476
and two knocks at the 490 door, plus today for three knocks
power of this triangle is 493 - 476 = 17 pts
that aint huge, but enough to break over 500
target is 493 + 17 = 510
it dont have a lot of power pent up with oscillators
but relative strenk is pretty good, maybe good enough

nearterm:
a real nice uptrend since teh pathetic 428 October low
nice channel formed, with the early January extension rebuffed
ignoring that Jan strange burst, upper rail now indicates around 510-515 as the next rail touch
loose support (without touches) provided by its 50dayMA

longterm:
a less than perfect Cup & Handle pattern screams BULLISH
left side handle was June-July fight at 482-512
cup nicely showing itself from July 512 down to October 428
and now back toward a new handle fight at 478-495
power of the C&H is 512 - 428 = 84 pts
target is 512 + 84 = 596 (call it 6 bucks)
oscillator aint that strong in last couple days
so this might not bust through very strong if it busts at all
relative strenk is good and healthy

I think silver will defy the supposed experts and bust over 500 soon
very soon
but not continue to extend its gains for a while
this lil brother has some catching up to do
I expect it will benefit from some gold profitaking
nobody seems to anticipate this
