It's seems as if the rest of the world is CONTENT with forcing the US to maintain containment of Iraq

How did "the rest of the world" "force" the US?

We're doing what they should have done years ago

Possibly. No reason for the UN to agree with the US' recent infatuation with INVADING Iraq, though.

As far as I'm concerned, the UN can pack up and close their doors. We'd hardly miss them...

I doubt that would happen. The US can pull out, though, and that would be another matter.

you're REALLY DELUDING YOURSELF MY DEAR

I really do not think so. I think containment has worked and there is no need for an invasion that will KILL thousands of Iraqi civilians, possibly more than Saddam has ever managed to kill.

If anything, he's only waiting for a new lease on life...

That is, of course, only speculation.

It tells me that, of all the 330,000 people in that UNSCIENTIFIC poll did what I did... voted 10+ times (I split it between Korea and Iraq.. :0)<

Now who's deluding himself? :-)

Let's revisit this conversation 6 months from now to see what the polls say then...

OK.
