Thomas White is now the head of Army. What I don't know is if he is in the Pentagon or what he does
at Army. Thomas White along with a fellow named Pai ran Enron Energy. The division lost
hundreds of thousands of dollars. I am not certain that it was ever a legitimate business. I do not
understand why Congressional investigators have let White off the hook. This might be a good
question for Lieberman since he may sit on a few Enron Congressional committees.

Do you recall the slogan, "Make love not war." Well, it is back. The press has reported that
Bush and his cabinet disliked the young people in the Vietnam period. (We know what
Rummy thinks about Vietnam vets.)

I thought you would enjoy the following post:

Make Love Not War Buttons

"We (Puget Sound Students Against War) are looking into whether we can
get these buttons made up in time to use for Valentine's Day. One of
our members had the idea to fundraise by selling hand-painted
Valentine's Day cards (he's an artist) with the message inside, "Happy
Valentine's Day! Would you like to <Make Love Not War>" (the button
being pinned to the card under the words "Would you like to").

We're also going to print up labels that read "Make Love Not War" and
affix them to condoms to hand out at school.
Other campus groups could
do this too. This is very easy to do as you can do it with regular
mailing labels. A color printer makes them look nicer. Once we have
the labels designed we'll find some way to make the file available for
others to download and use. This is of course more amusing for
Valentine's Day but could be used year round. The women's center on
campus told us that the King County Health Department has free boxes of
condoms for condom hand out efforts. Once we have all the info I'll
post an update here.

I think college students in particular will get a big kick out of this
hand out, others might as well."
