KB, I enjoyed reading about the office pool you were in. Two things, if I may - You said that the boys who ran the pool "did not disclose" how they did. I've known scores of bookies over the past 40 years, and not one of them would ever admit to making any money. They'll regale you with their "tough beat" stories though. Second, IMHO, sports betting is somewhat like stock picking. It's a search for value. There is seldom value in the well known favorites. Looks like you had the right approach in the pool.
