"my problem" is that I am more balanced than the permabears on SI. You wouldn't believe how biased those trading threads have become.

I don't believe in equating historical charts to current mkt patterns, especially from the 30s or 70s which were both very different periods from today (the 1900 recessionary chart might be interesting though but don't have it).

Notice from my hotlist nxtl and macr are up today. This didn't happen in the bear, nothing went up - it was a unilateral plunge.

I am expecting a brutal war-related selloff at some point in the future (maybe it is starting now) so you and I are in the same camp for awhile. I am not expecting good news from cisco. Not a disaster just flat.
