Well, the stock bubble has been so much bigger this time. The there's the money bubble, the trade bubble, the borrowing bubble, and in some places a real estate bubble. It's nauseating. I think it's closer to the pre-Vietnam mood, when the USA was overrun with monstrous 10 mpg vehicles with chrome daggers sticking out the front and chrome-covered fins piercing the sky in back. We had beaten the Commies in Korea and beaten the Russians to the Moon. Vietnam was to be a minor adventure.
