re:I've found that there are times when it pays to ignore Brinker's opinion. Odd as it is, I'd say roughly about half the time.

Tim,

The problem is...which half?

Bob

Tim: Re: " A man with no opinion can never be accused of being wrong. But being wrong with no opinion is never right. It seems to me that's where Bob left most of us hanging....wrong with no opinion. "

I find it so interesting that folks think Brinker is a clown still seek out his market opinion.

Brinker does not know when and how this bear will bottom. Nobody does. Oh, sure, you can get tons of bottom calls. And all of them have been wrong to date. Sure, he may have some guesses on where this thing goes. Who doesn't. You can guess too. Everyone can guess. Feel free to guess all you want. Lay it on the line.

Anyway, it seems Brinker is waiting for the market to tell him rather than vice versa. So far, it seems, the market has not met Brinker's criteria for bottoming for a cyclical bull market. He is trying to get that call right. It is important to him. I wish him success.

You make some interesting points in some of your posts but is apparent you think Brinker is a clown now underneath it all. You are entitled to your opinion and I wish you the best but not on this board as fundamental respect for Brinker is a prerequisite to post here as I do not want to use the limited time in my life to work through the underlying anger directed at Brinker. There are plenty of forums for that all over the internet for that and there are some marketing schemes aimed at capitalizing on that notion. What a country! Good luck.
