We are better off leaving the political/ healthcare debate alone. I must say I do find the lagging shares more out of step with the POG than I would expect. It seems to lend credence to the theory that the hedge funds are going long gold and short the shares. I do believe the shares will realign themselves with the POG when its continued strength, outside of any supposed war premium, overwhelms the current public perception.
