Yep. Doesn't matter to the profiteers. As long as your own inventory is high-priced, and your morals are low. Opportunities for profiteering are horrendous, the next trillion or so is already "spent" by those in eager anticipation of profits in defense and oil deals. Regardless of truth, they won't let it go now. If need be sufficient $$ can manufacture "truth"
