More importantly, it's well established that folks in the Mid East believe America is doing what it is doing on Iraq as an extension of increasing the regional power of Israel, that if Israel--especially with the US so nearby--becomes powerful that all Arab nations will be forced to deal with them.

Bush calling for regime change in Iraq when he doesn't have a clue who can viably take over and how surrounding nations will react to whomever takes over, is, at the very best, absurd.

<< What exactly did Iraq and Saddam have to do with the tower coming down? >>

Saddam couldn't have anything to do with violence or terrorism or murder. Saddam, as you obviously perceive, spends most of his time selling girl scout cookies, and sleeping with his camel.

<< Israel and their Jewish-American Israel Firsters such as Richard Perle were demanding that America attack Iraq, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, etc. within hours after 9/11. >>

Lies and half truths will get you to keep your ignoble reputation here on SI. Israel is really America's front line against terrorism and against America's enemies, in the Middle East.

It's GREAT having a friend and close ally, like Israel, among the backward, uneducated, unwashed, violent Arab nations!

Emile, you had better watch out. If you keep cavorting with all those Arab friends of yours, you'll start to smell like one of them. <g>
