These Bush deficits are going to dry up capital, raise interest rates, minimize growth and consumer confidence, dampen the markets, kill peoples' IRA's despite the dividend tax cut and deprive the US of the tremendous national strength we had only two years ago. The interest we will now pay alone will be a major budget buster. And Bush hasn't even figured in the cost of his war(s). That's all extra deficit. The GOP will try but fail to spin their way out from under this burden, but it is the opposite of fiscal conservatism. It is truly reckless and undermines each American's financial security going forward.
