Not kidding: See my profile or check my last posts on the Dell thread Let me re-phase the question in light of thread comments I was not aware that they have found a way to maintain communications with ground control during re-entry It is almost certain there are door closed indicators as stated and if the door had left in the early part of re-entry Then ground control and the crew would have known they were in really deep trouble What did they discuss? ( so I think perhaps they could not communicate ) And the next poster indicates perhaps do not have gear door close indicators Guess we will get the real scoop in good time Regards Sig
