Hawk. Yes interesting articles...so why would the USA back someone with this questionable past to lead post saddam iraq? Even if Ahmad Chalabi was framed there will be questions of past guilt. They must have a good reason I suppose.

Hawk. Many posters here and elsewhere say sanctions work against iraq or we need more resolutions before war against iraq. Now the question that comes to mind is why are there still sanctions in place after 12 years? I mean if saddam had complied with UN resolutions why were sanctions not lifted years ago. It should be obvious to anyone that the UN believes that saddam still has WMD otherwise there would be no sanctions?
Appears to me that the UN is bent on self destruction along with crazy saddam.
