I can't call up vector vest. It tells me I have to be able to accept cookies... Strange. I just ate two chocolate chips fresh out of the oven but somehow can't accept cookies. Go figure.

TED/BOB B...

From what I have read on this thread and some poking around myself, it seems like there are around 200 or so eCRM companies that all want at least 5% of the market. good trick if you can do it.

Now that the big gorilla has entered the market, and with the fantastic number of companies chasing the available market, there will be a lot of shakeout. Buy outs, mergers and failures.

No need to go into further discussing FSTW as I know how you both feel about them longer term. I suspect you really do not know if they will be a survivor or not but you do raise some interesting questions and are asking and looking for some changes or answers to be more comfortable about their long term prospects.

More interesting to me, are other public eCRM companies that are a potential candidate for failure. I am willing to do my own DD but since you seem to have looked at many of the potential FSTW competitors you may have a short list of some of the poorer companies.

Sometimes shorting is a lot of fun. Any ideas???

Cheers

bob T.

Here's Feb 4th's VV info:

PRICE: FSTW closed on 02/04/2003 at $15.22 per share.
VALUE: FSTW has a Value of $30.04 per share.

In one day, FSTW lost

0.41 in value, and
1.75 in price.

Interesting algorithm.
