Bill, My sarcasm came from you stating in essence that they could create O2 from water. I am just a tin bender but I propose to you that they could not have made O2 from water for more then just a handful of reasons, 7 airborne engineers and legions of grounded helping or not. It is absurd for us grounded knobs to second guess these folks. We don't have the tools, knowledge or the facts. Edit: I would add it is unimportant whether there is an idiot light or not that the door is open to a wheel well. If that is what caused the crash the only thing a light would have done is given them time to bend over and kiss their collective ass's goodbye.
