<< Right on! GWB is a Disgrace >> During the presidential election, I didn't like any candidate. In fact, I posted many insulting notes against Bush prior to the election. I didn't think that Bush was qualified to be a President. I was wrong. Sept 11th changed my mind. For years, Americans have suffered through the indecisive and clumsy Presidents of Clinton and Bush senior. Clinton was worse, because he wanted to be considered a great President, but didn't want to stick out his neck, or take a courageous stand, or do the work. George W. Bush showed his merit, when he challenged the Taliban, refused to negotiate with terrorists, and challenged the world to stand with America against terrorism. I was stunned when he made the statement that said the United States would retaliate against "those behind these evil acts," and any country that harbors them. ", Wow! Any other President would have negotiated with the terrorists and been bogged down, going thru the ineffective UN for years of endless debate. Bush's quick and decisive actions saved many lives and made this world a lot safer. Bush showed that he had courage and backbone, and was not afraid to lead. When you get a great leader like Bush, you must support him and be grateful that he was the right leader at the right time.
