well, lizzie as long as you are in the green in your investments that is all that counts...yeah, rofl...that's what i do every time i think about my walton's mountain contest with wh...new economy got whupped by the old economy...my only mistake was i didn't have ENOUGH gold in there and was foolish enough to have stuff like AMD or LSI in my picks...any time you wanna have a stock picking contest...let me know...
remember the wise words of homer j simpson..."the internet, doh, is that thing still around?"

I can't count the number of friends back in the day who were woking on their own software start ups. (iow, wasting years of their lives.... )

One guy's big hope was that Oprah, who was in town, was going to give him and his buddy the angel money they needed to get to the next level. )(see, she's known to give seed money to minority start-ups... ) Well.. guess what didn't happen next.

Well.. i'm not so sure the sw people of today have any smaller dreams about getting back on their feet. But dreams are fleeting, and in this economy, I wouldn't put my money on fleeting software dreams.
