GWB's handlers have an economic program designed to help Duh-mbya out in 2004. Meanwhile, to heck with the poor and unemployed. This economy most likely will strengthen by Q3, unless they screw up big in Iraq, North Korea, Iran etc(Caveat emptor)...

I doubt it, but 2004 elections are still a ways off. You can however bet the Senate is going to make a few changes in the next couple of years.
