The politics of the present is that we are locked into a politics of demopublican hegemony, where both parties engage in a wanton rip off of those who surround them. It's ironic but true, minority rules because of voting coalitions and individual peoples rationalizations that say it's ok if I can get something, at the expense of my neighbor, he never need to know.That is a fundamental debasement of the individual, and a subversion of the turth of our American gift. This is endemic in our society, state sponsored hegemony, NOT money has become the root of our present evil. Liberty loving people abstain rather than participate. Often the abstension is mistaken by sheer omission. That is the gravest sin of all, when those who presume to rule, presume so under a false pretense.
