Since when is shorting some stocks betting against your county? Another moronic post by a moron who doesn't understand how the market works.

Shorting stocks isn't betting against the US but the overt cynicism projected by some short sellers (I'm talking big traders not SI people) calling every company a POS, implying subtely or sometimes directly that certain companies are engaging in fraud (when there is no evidence to that effect) and referring to CEOs as scumbags does some damage to the image of capitalism in the US, imho.

Just ask Warren Buffet and many others....of course the big money loves it when the markets tank.....
except the insurance companies...who are now charging outrageous amounts for the same or LESSER coverage and blaming it on lawsuits....
there has been NO increase in lawsuits, but W and his cadre make it sound like it's the insured people's fault....
it's the GREED of those insurance companies that have been taken down the creek with the market
