Bush an environmentalist? HA! Read "The Dirty Truth - How GWB Sold Out Texans and the Environment To Big Business Polluters". Two hundred pages of factual numbers, stats and public record about how Bush told Texans he was for a clean environment then secretly gutted every environmental protection law in Texas, sold pollution for $1000 a ton, signed over small landowners rights to big polluters for campaign contributions, fought the EPA at every opporutnity, lobbied for every type of pollution exemption, starved Texas state parks of funding and amassed a huge war chest from polluters capable of funding his presidential run. My friend, with all due respect, you are either a complete blind loyalist or completely out to lucnh. Bush is the single worst envioronmental prsident in history. DO NOT BELIEVE his campaign speeches, believe his actions, and they are nefarious. -- PS - If you think cutting down two acres of redwoods is a "nice pasture" I have a nice "natural green pasture" maybe you'd like to buy on the moon. PU-LEAZE educate yourself and CARE. You clear-cut old-growth and NOTHING grows back for a long-long time. It's just gone. And sequoias are highly resistent to fire. No need to "save" them by clearing large swatches of barren nothing around them. Let the forests live. What did they ever do to you to make you hate them so much?
