Actually, Lizzie, the only place I've ever seen margins at 70% or higher is at software companies. That high of a margin is unheard of in manufacturing. Cisco is just an unbelievable powerhouse. Goes to show you, Chambers and staff paid attention in their marketing 101 classes. The first rule they teach you is only compete on price when you've exhausted all other options. Study after study has shown that price is usually the 3rd or 4th factor people consider in competitive buy situations for complex products. Cisco knows that and capitalizes. Good for them.
