This little cryptic comment in the UBS Warberg report on yesterdays action in the gold price leads me to believe we had a bit of a short covering rally yesterday:

“With good US bank buying Gold finished the day on the highs.”

I figure most of the "good" US banks are net short. Which "good" bank do you figure was the culprit? I bet it was JPM... their derivative position must be getting heavy these days <bfg>.
