god, can you say 'pathetic'? these guys are so dead. McCollough must have gone to the same management school as Alan Lacy (Sears CEO); you'd think he'd look at what the Sears cratering of service levels in their stores has done to their comps.

i don't even no where to begin with this one. maybe the best indication is that although they have 'authorized' for $200mm of stock to be bought back, they have bought back NONE to date, even with the stock at $6.

lets not forget that basically ALL of their earnings come from their credit card operations, which if i read the press release correctly might be showing some deterioration.

wow.

stock will probably double on this news.

good to see one of those CC guys got offered a job at CarMax so he can maintain his tenure. He'll be fired again in about 12 months.
