Absolutely not - you've misread my point. There is no "faith" here.

I'm only suggesting that the path ahead of the U.S. will be different in nature than that of Argentina. I am in agreement with your points, although I don't see how we can be in the midst of the debt liquidation phase, when aggregate debt levels are still rising. The ugliness associated with sorting all of that out still lies ahead of the U.S., IMO - the party hasn't gotten started yet. The printing press solution is idiotic and destructive to all - but it doesn't put us where Argentina was as they didn't have that option.

Yes, I like to tele - strictly backcountry touring, mostly in the San Juans of SW Colorado where I live. Also was a competitive tennis player in another lifetime - but never heard the term "corned beef" while on the courts.
