While Bush is president I wouldn't be quick to buy stocks, but yes I'm watching too as they fall. I like for instance a stock like AAPL at $12.50 as they have $10 a share in cash. Just an example. I am also looking at AOL if it gets back to $10. Time-Warner itself is worth more than $10 a share IMHO. However, I would sell again if they popped back 20%, as happened last fall. Unfortunately everyone else will be watching for this too so the opportunities may be slim. You have to be quick and nimble. Otherwise, I see little value in a trillion dollar deficit economy with war(s) looming. if Bush looks especially weak going into 2004 I would buy and hold for a year. If John Kerry for instance wins and promises to gradually balance the budget again the markets will love it.
