I think the tech leaders in CA are going to support an alternative candidate in 04 because they aren't seeing any international business despite a falling dollar... especially the asian countries are freaked out... as you know the industry is on its knees here. Ca went Gore last time around so maybe it doesn't matter but I don't think a Bush victory in 04 is a sure thing even if we get through iraq cleanly. Unless the economy catches fire, his intl policies will be blamed for the weakness. Lizzie
