It's all increasing monopoly control in fewer and fewer hands with GOP gov't protection, to avoid regulation or accountability to the public of exactly what's happening.

The eventual result is a citizenry in the dark, paying daily fealty for water, heat, light (and air if they could), just to get up in the morning, owning nothing. Bush Senior calls this winning political control by enlarging the national class of easily-controlled "BUDs" - "Broke, Uninformed and Depressed". "You can always win by giving the BUDs just enough to get by". So, win elections by making life miserable and fearful, suck the lifeblood out of the economy, with ever-increasing payoffs to the Washington scamsters.

If that's the goal it's working like a charm.

It's a lie to call these gov't protected rackets "capitalism". Like the Italian fascisti, by turning citizens into victims gov't protected monopolies cease to be capitalism and simply become an ornate form of organized crime.
