our old friend Eugene Kearney has the ticket on chart reading and projecting this bear into historical patterns. He was right on with the october lows and what he says is we get a sharp decline coming up but don't take out october lows, base for awhile and then bull for a few years. I think he's looking for mid-1200's on the naz or so. The cisco situation is interesting. First of all there was a time when cisco would have collapsed on a no growth report like this. Also the E component of the cisco picture is dramatically improving so the "sky high" avg P/E issues are getting resolved. I think the E for the leading tech companies is going to go way up after all this consolidation.
