He doesn't seem to care about what the world thinks of the US. Imo this is a severe miscalculation of the public viewpoint. He may be right about what he is trying to achieve but his methods are so poor the damage makes the journey insurmountable.

anindo, that depends on who the dems put up against him. gray davis cost california $40 billion through his scheming/stupidity, but the repubs put up simon says who couldn't beat a lame duck... the dems just may be that dumb...
