Dipy,

Seems you adopt a buy and/or sell the market as a whole strategy. That's fine. But why you mock press releases that pertain to LSI's products and potential successes with customers is beyond me. Granted, the macro environment is swamping everything right now, but part of LSI's projected shortfall for Q1 is the toll taken by competition in the consumer areas. These announcements matter. KNowing for instance that LSI is leading in the rewritable DVD space is a big deal. Knowing about rapid-chip is a big deal. These are the sorts of things by which individual companies succeed or fail: whether they can compete in their markets with good products. Just because you don't know the semi-conductor business well enough to know the meaning of LSI's product announcements (and neither do I, for the most part, I have to admit) doesn't mean those announcements aren't something to trade on or aren't significant for valuing the company. As Dylan put it, "Don't criticize what you can't understand."

(I wish someone who *did* understand would post on this god-forsaken thread sometimes.)

So, without further ado, some good news:
