Ben, I’m living in Portland and it is surreal. The schools are melting down and just about every part of the state public / private is in the toilet. But, the city of Portland has on its agenda as priority one a new major league baseball club (Montreal) and of course a new stadium. UFB

Ben:

Good comments and right on the money.

The good news for the type of folk who hang out on this thread is that they know what is coming and are starting to prepare for it. The bad news is that a large cross section of the public has no clue as to how ugly this thing is going to be and are digging themselves ever deeper into the debt trap.

From my perspective, it is no longer a question as to whether or not we are heading into a depression, it is just a matter or how long the Fed can hold it off or keep its stealth arrival from becoming apparent to all. This is round two of a fifteen rounder and already the canvas has lots of investor blood on it.

Best, Earlie
