Lazarus, thanks for the interesting info from TLC.

I believe in the "bad seed" concept. I think that some are born with little or no compassion towards others. Compassion is what separates a human being from an animal. Even among the apes, that we evolved from, some apes showed signs of compassion, while most didn't.

Emile is a "bad seed", IMHO. He can never change. If Emile was born in a void, without any other living being, animal or plant, he would find a way to hate. He is driven uncontrollably to hate.

If we look around the planet, many countries are run by so-called human beings, who are selfish, hateful and lack compassion for others. More people than I'd like to admit, are born that way. Emile is one.
