GZ,

While I agree that we would normally rally when the bullets fly, does it concern you that even news of a decisive strike in Iraq might be overcome by another terror attack on a grand scale elsewhere?

As horribly pessimistic as this sounds, I can fairly easily imagine a scenario that dictates that the first bomb that's dropped in Iraq will be the signal for the sleeper cells to execute their plans around the world. That is not only scary from a humanitarian point of view, it would be enough to completely reverse any traditional rally caused by perceived good news from Iraq.

Does that factor into your thinking as well? I'm not taking a political stance with this note nor am I placing the market as a priority over world events. I'm just curious as to whether or not this is a factor for you.
