<< TLC was a great guy. I'm sorry he's gone. >>

What happened to him?

<< I was going to dispute your "bad seed" concept and argue there was hope for Vidrine. He has convinced me otherwise, though. >>

Enjoyed that comment! <g>

<< What a pitiful, lunatic idiot. >>

Emile is a good lesson for everyone. There are evil people in the world that don't think normal.

For instance. The jury in the OJ trial said that OJ wouldn't kill his ex, while his kids were a short distance away. They assumed that someone in OJ's state of mind would act rational.

Half the Cambodian population was murdered by Pol Pot, totaling about 2 million victims. They particularly targetted people with glasses, because they wanted to murder anyone who was educated. They figured, a person with glasses was a person who would read.

If, before Pol Pot got the power, you asked the Cambodians if that could happen to their country, they would have said no! Noone could possibly act that way. Nobody could be that blood thirsty and cruel.

Obviously the Cambodians had never met someone like Emile Vidrine.
