That's right. And they do. And after Powell's performance, they have even a bigger majority with them. I know this is hard for you to swallow, but the polls show it's true.

If they fail to get UNSC approval, they will have to live with the numbers of poll respondents who approve of an invasion without. Those numbers are quite volatile and last time I checked they were around 50%. They will want better numbers than that. Thus, one more reason to work away at the UNSC. I still don't see them going without that level of approval. Or, at most, with one easily isolatable veto vote against them. I would doubt they have a majority in the UNSC right now.
