You should be more open-minded. Party loyalty isn't everything. I like John McCain a lot. If he had run against Gore I would have thought about it hard, before voting for Gore. But now we have a different problem, too much power in the hands of a right-wing minority. The same would be true if left-wing liberals controlled all three branches of government. I would be concerned if I saw gay marriages being pushed and reparations to blacks, etc. I would fight it. Bush talks the talk but his actions alienate half the country. His actions are pretty far right-wing. We need a unifier serving the middle who's his own man and not in the pockets of special interests. That's why I want Kerry to run with McCain and send Bush back to Texas and the Carlyle Group which spawned him. And anything you can say Bush does well, Kerry does better. So don't even go there.
