I think we might still not be totally ready. I think March is more likely then February.

Oh, I need to make myself clear. I may be wrong since I haven't seen his speech in its entirety but I don't think Powell has come up with a smoking gun.

Depends on how you define "smoking gun". But the evidence was incontravertible -- meaning there can be no explanation of the evidence Powell presented OTHER THAN an absolute, undeniable material breach.

It's over. Worst case scenario is that a couple of European countries will drag their feet and slow us down until our guys are fighting under more difficult circumstances.

I'm not sure whether Bush will slow down or not; if he has the forces in place, I think he would probably just move forward.
