Are you really? Is this really about American lives for you? Because if it is, I appreciate the effort.

But doesn't it even cross your mind that you could be wrong about all this? That Saddam, whom we know possesses all these bad things, and has a "blood feud" (per Eagleberger tonight) with the United States, might just decide to use some of that crap, or worse, hand it to one of his Al Queda buddies and say, "go knock your self out"?

It really isn't a risk that is sensible to take. Surely this isn't so difficult to understand? Did you happen to see some of the news coverage of 9/11? Because one good Anthrax or Smallpox or VX attack could really make that look like "a picnic" (in the words of Saddam's son).
