Gore would have been similar to Bush after 9-11, except perhaps for the election season Saddam obsession. I supported Afghanistan and gunning down Al Qaida, in fact I wish we'd do more of it. I also wish instead of showing sat-com photos of bad things we'd just bomb them out of existence. Gore is a moderate hawk, no dove. But Gore has become irrelevant now, so who cares? As for finding Bin Lauden, that's a mystery isn't it? Maybe he's back home in Saudi Arabia, the safest place in the world from Mister "hands Off Saudi Arabia" GW Bush. Whatevr the case, I have a sneaky feeling the Tora Bora ecape thing was no accident. We had him, didn't we? But someone wanted him out. Afghan warlord? Pakistanis? CIA? Who knows? It's a shadowy world out there. Time will tell. Or may never tell. All I know is Bush hasn't mentioned Osama or Ken Lay in a long-long time. And that's intentional.
