Wow! I am shocked by that statement.

You're right. That statement didn't come out right.

Obviously, the loss of only one American military is a serious downside. The point was that the loss of a few American military is a price that we are willing to pay to eliminate the threat of Saddam Hussein.

Certainly, my intent was not to minimize the grief some parents will suffer at the loss of their kid....
