Soros also bailed GW Bush out of Harken Energy. Can't remember the details but Soros was only one of several who bailed Bush out at various times. He was asked about it and said he did it for political influence (at least he's honest) and that GW Bush had promised Middle Eastern oil deals he never delivered. That's why Harken went down the tubes. He stated Bush wasn't much of a businessman, all talk no action. Harvard also had something to do with a Hrken-Bush bail-out and it's a modest scandal in Boston. Bottomline, when you do business with Bush, you get influence. He wins, maybe you lose but at least you're in the club. Soros seems to have quit the club, now blaming The Bush Factor for the continued collapse of world markets.
