Kerry's background is not a problem. The right-wing has been accusing him of being a Boston Brahmin blue-blood. Those are the words David Limbaugh used as an excuse to hate Kerry. Now he's a half-Jewish grandson of a poor immigrant who was raised a practicing Catholic. This means he's not Jewish but has Jewish blood in him. Fine. He can take away the Lieberman vote without putting on a yamukah, and raise a lot more money that way. Plus he retains Catholic voters and Boston Brahmin-lovers too. Bush has gone a long way on being half blue blood-half Texan with a nephew who's Hispanic. The more things you are, the better when you're running nationally. Now can Kerry speak Spanish?
