Dont swear, and I never said war was a last resort. I have always just wondered about Bush's real motives. And falsifying evidence to conceal the real reason, OIL. I have been calling for a Saddam assasination to save hundreds of thousands of lives. I wanted Saddam taken out 12 years ago. Invading will now be very risky. Bush would have been smarter to just order a stealth attack before Saddam was even alerted. Assasinate him with a bomb. Or try to, like Reagan did with Khadafi, no warning. Then show evidence afterward. As for being liberal, on military issues I'm not. I'm realistic. But when you pull a gun use it, don't bluff or wave it around foolishly. Otherwise dont pull it in the first place. War is now all but inevitable, but it didn't have to be. A surgical trike would have been a lot cheaper and faster. Another plan would be to just seize the oil-fields and order Saddam to step down. The anger on the Arab street will be just as bad either way. So who cares? Give them candy.
