que seria, CPE -- The company announced the Medusa delay at their presentation at the Morgan Keegan conference on 1/27. See the presentation at callon.com (click on "Presentations"). My concern with the current delay is that it leaves little room for further delays, until their bank line & bonds are due in mid-'04.

The plan all along was to get Medusa up to full production by no later than YE '03 so they can let it crank out for a good 3 months or so before going back into the financing markets in anticipation of the refinancing. On the current plan full production will not be reached until November. That does not leave much room for error IMO. Also there is a concern that commodity prices may have come back down by then, yet they can't lock in hedges yet since they don't know exactly when the new production will kick in.

Still keeping CPE on the front burner though.

>>> Dabum is of course correct about how to play the odds, but what's life without some gambling? <<<

How can one play the odds and this not have something to do with gambling? <vbg> I'm gambling that the odds will favor me.

Come to think of it, sometimes sharing an opinion on these message boards is a gamble. You never know how someone will react to something you say.

I gambled that the bottom wasn't in for EP. It hit a low of 5.50 today.

OK, time to wait to see the reaction to the AGA's.
