greg,
... I am sorry your losses have affected you in such a profound way.

Please don't feel sorry for me, as I own San Diego real estate.

Direct your feeling of sorrow toward the less fortunate. Many people thought that Intel reported the earnings honestly. Even the Intel engineers with their stock options are being hurt by the dilution effect of the extremely huge give-away options to Grove's Inner Circle.

My portfolio could go to zero and my lifestyle (travels) would not be affected, so please do not worry...humble carl

Greg,
Let's get this thread back to information that concerns us all.

I ask again, because I don't have the answer: What has Pottruck, Charles Schwab CEO, received as an Intel Director and what worth has he contributed for this money? (Stock options perhaps).

If you don't know the answer, simply admit it without a lot of BS, and maybe someone else will have the answer...humble carl

RE:"Gordon Moore, Robert Noyce, and Andy Grove are/were three of the best technologists and managers I have met in my life and your castigation of them saddens me"

I feel your pain. The shareholders(bagholders) feel pain too. The question remains. Who will buy this stock as long as the public sees so many with the freebie-feed-bag on?
