I am familiar with Pravda - used to read it, and even posted on their "forum", which I used to call the 'Wild, Wild East' (g). They are seriously anti-American and not reliable. Despite the famous name, it does not represent any serious movement, to my knowledge, and is presently just a minor private outfit, just another controversial web site. There are many good Russian papers online, it is very easy to find them. Here is an example: themoscowtimes.com
