I never knew the man in any way before you first brought this news to the thread, but it is terribly sad that at some point people can be brought so low as to think their families would be better off without them than with them. No financial loss of ANY magnitude is great enough to outweigh the importance of the person, no family would ever wish a loving parent were out of the picture simply over the disappointment of financial misfortune.

Ever.

RE Jay Lyons - HELP

Is anybody on this thread a subscriber to RealMoney?

On behalf of Laura, Jay's wife, I've been closing some of Jay's subscriptions. TheshholdTrading.com and Briefing were immediately accommodating and understanding, and the accounts were closed the same day and unused subscription fees were refunded.

I've now sent a total of six e-mails to RealMoney (members@thestreet.com) and have received no reply except one form e-mail telling me how to close my account. I went back and explained that it was somebody else's account I was concerned with, and again asked for their co-operation. I even included the story from the Winston-Salem paper to show them I wasn't trying a sick practical joke. Still no response.

If any of you has access to the RealMoney site, could you tell me the e-mail address of someone on the management side to whom I could appeal to get this fixed and stop the subscription fees from building up. Jay was on a monthly subscription basis to Briefing, and may also have been on the same monthly credit card debit system with RealMoney.

I used to be a subscriber to RealMoney. This makes me glad I cancelled.

MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE.
