Ted. Re...I am saying the tie in is a weak one and under dispute.

Yeah, how come Kerry and Edwards, and every other dem. candidate didn't agree with you. Powell tied that defectors information to the information given to the police in France and UK, which allowed them to stop a terrible tragedy. Yet, instead of being appreciative for that information, you want to call him a liar, because he said what the link between Saddam an Al qaeda was. If his other info was correct, why not that? Whats next, wasn't Powells description of Saddam running gas experiments on 1500 prisoners gruesome enough for you. If that doesn't turn your stomach, what does. Quit making excuses for the beast, get rid of him, and let the Iraqis get on with their life.

.....that's who he is; he tried last summer to discourage Bush from going into Iraq and failed.

Duh Hello, anybody home. Powell failed because the preponderance of the evidence showed GW was right. Powell didn't change his mind on a whim, or to satisfy Gw. He did it because it was the right thing to do. His presentation yesterday showed why he changed his mind. Its too bad yours is set in cement.
